SLOW DRAIN? WE CLEAR IT TODAY

Get Your Drain Running Again, Usually the Same Day

A clogged drain does not wait for a good time. When your kitchen sink backs up mid-dinner or the shower starts pooling around your feet, you want it fixed now, not next week. Our same-day drain cleaning in Seattle gets a technician to your door during business hours, clears the line, and shows you what caused it.

Aces Four is family-owned, licensed, and bonded, and we have cleared Seattle drains for close to five decades. We work clean, protect your floors, and leave with the water running the way it should.

Kitchen sink, bathtub, floor drain, or the main line out to the street, we handle interior and exterior drains for homes and businesses alike. Tell us what is backing up and we will tell you how fast we can get there.

DON'T WAIT FOR A FULL BACKUP

Signs You Need Drain Cleaning, Even If Water Still Flows

A drain that still empties is not the same as a drain that is fine. These are the early warnings worth a call before the line quits on you completely:

Water pools and drains slowly: The sink or tub takes longer to empty than it used to, or you hear a gurgle as it goes down. That sound is air squeezing past a blockage that is already narrowing the pipe.

A smell you cannot place: A sewer or musty odor drifting up from a sink, tub, or floor drain usually means waste is sitting in the line instead of moving through it. The smell shows up before the backup does.

Stains around a floor drain: Water marks creeping around a basement or garage floor drain mean the line is struggling to keep up and pushing water back where it came in. It is easy to miss until the flooring shows it.

The plunger lives on the counter: If you are reaching for the plunger on the same fixture again and again, the real clog is deeper than a plunger can reach. You are treating the symptom, not the cause.

The lowest drain goes first: When a basement shower or floor drain backs up before anything upstairs, the blockage is down in the main line. Everything above it is about to feel the effect.

The toilet talks back: Bubbles in the toilet when you run the sink or the washer mean air is trapped and looking for a way out. It is a classic sign the drain and vent are partly blocked.

Flies around the sink: A cluster of fruit flies or gnats near a kitchen or bathroom sink often traces to organic gunk caked inside the drain. They are feeding on what your line is holding onto.

Catching a clog at this stage is faster, cheaper, and far less messy than mopping up an overflow later. If any of these sound familiar, it is worth a call.

HOW WE CLEAR IT

How Our Seattle Drain Cleaning Works

We start with a couple of questions, which fixture, how often, how bad, so the truck arrives with the right gear. On site, we lay down floor protection, find the cleanout, and get to work.

Cabling handles most clogs. The machine drives a cable through grease, hair, and soft blockages and pulls the line back open. For roots or hardened scale, we swap to a cutting head that shears buildup off the pipe wall. When a line is packed too tight for cable to finish the job, we bring in hydro jetting to scour it end to end.

When the water runs, we test the fixture to be sure the clog is gone for good, not just loosened. Where it helps, we send a camera down so you can see the inside of your own pipe instead of taking our word for it. If there is a cracked or root-damaged section, we point it out and walk you through the choices.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

What Our Seattle Drain Cleaning Service Covers

No two clogs are identical, but a standard visit covers the essentials, with a few things you can add on:

  • Cable and snaking for kitchen, bath, laundry, and floor drains
  • Cutting heads for roots and hardened scale
  • Hydro-jetting for grease-packed or heavy-buildup lines
  • Flow testing at the fixture once the line is clear
  • A plain-language walk-through of what we found on site
  • Written findings with a photo or video link
  • Camera inspection, included after clearing on many jobs or available as an add-on
  • A repair or liner estimate if the camera turns up a real defect

We clear interior drains (kitchen and bath sinks, tubs, showers, toilet lines, laundry sinks, floor drains, and the main house line) as well as exterior and commercial drains (area and catch basins, downspout and storm laterals, grease and restaurant lines, trench drains, and mop sinks).

Drain Cleaning for Homes and Businesses Across Seattle

A clogged line does not care whether it is under a house or a busy kitchen, and neither do we. We clear drains for:

  • Homeowners and renters
  • Property managers and HOAs
  • Commercial and retail buildings
  • Restaurants and food service kitchens
  • Facilities and light industrial sites
  • Municipal and public works

Our trucks run out of Seattle and reach across the Eastside and north through Snohomish County, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Mercer Island, Everett, Marysville, and the towns in between. Not sure if your address is in range? Give us a call and we will sort it out on the spot.

We stick to standard drain clearing on regular business hours. Hazardous or industrial process lines and deep confined-space work fall outside what we take on, and we will say so up front rather than leave you waiting.

The Equipment Behind a Clean Clear

A drain gets cleared right when the crew shows up with the machine the job actually calls for. Our Seattle trucks carry:

  • Cable machines in hand, medium, and heavy-duty sizes, sized for anything from a bathroom sink to a main line
  • Cutting heads that shear through roots and scale a plain cable would slide right past
  • A hydro-jetter for grease-packed lines that need scouring, not just a hole punched through the middle
  • Camera and locating gear to inspect the line and pin down a defect

Most jobs wrap in one to two hours. Bigger work, a restaurant kitchen line or a multi-building property, can run to a half-day.

Clogged Drain Repair vs. a Routine Clear

Most of the time, a clog is just a clog. We cable or jet the line, the water runs, and you are back to normal within the hour. But now and then the camera shows the clog was a symptom, not the problem. Here is the difference:

  • A routine clear takes care of the everyday stuff, grease, hair, soap, and soft blockages. We open the line, test the flow, and finish in one visit.
  • Clogged drain repair enters the picture when the camera finds a real defect, a cracked pipe, a root-split joint, or a collapsed section that keeps snagging debris. Clearing the line only buys you a few weeks.
  • You decide with the footage in front of you. We show you what the pipe needs and hand you a repair or liner estimate. Some defects are urgent and some can wait, and we tell you which is which.
  • No pressure, either way. You are never talked into a repair on our say-so. You are looking at the same screen we are.

What Drives the Cost of Drain Cleaning in Seattle, WA

Every drain is different, so we price each job on what it actually takes. A handful of things move the number up or down:

  • How we get to the line. A ground-floor cleanout is quick. A roof vent or a buried cleanout means more setup.
  • What is in the pipe. Soft grease clears faster than packed roots or hardened scale.
  • The pipe itself. Material, age, length, and the number of bends all shape how long the job runs.
  • Whether you want a camera or locator. Inspection is included after clearing on many jobs, or added when you want a closer look.
  • When we come out. Standard business-hours work is priced differently than holiday scheduling.

Most jobs start at a one-hour trip minimum, and we give you a price range before we start so nothing lands as a surprise.

SKIP THE STORE-SHELF FIX

Why Call a Pro Instead of Grabbing a Bottle of Drain Cleaner

Store-bought drain chemicals are a gamble. They sometimes clear a soft clog, but they can also sit in the trap eating at your pipe while the real blockage stays put. Here is what a professional visit gives you that a bottle cannot:

We find the actual cause

Clearing a clog is easy. Knowing whether it was grease, roots, or a cracked pipe takes a cable and a camera, and that is how you stop clearing the same drain every few months.

We reach what you cannot

A clog often sits far past the trap, deep in the branch line or the lateral. Our machines run the full length of the pipe, not just the first few feet a bottle ever touches.

We protect the pipe

Cabling and jetting open a line without the corrosion risk harsh chemicals bring to older Seattle plumbing, where a decades-old pipe cannot afford to be eaten from the inside.

We show you the proof

Where it helps, we run a camera so you see the real condition of the line, not a guess. You leave knowing exactly what was wrong and whether anything else needs watching.
